Have you recently had a baby?
Do you have a family emergency?

In-a-Pinch provides meals, rides, and other assistance when you most need it. This outreach program is designed to offer families friendship and support.

The most common use of the In-a-Pinch program is meal support when members bring home new babies.

Would you like to volunteer?

This program is a special way for you to become more involved in your community, connect with other members, and forge new friendships. It is also a fantastic way to teach children about compassion and caring for others.

In-a-Pinch requests go out through the CMC News Forum. If you're interested in pitching in, simply follow the directions in the email message.

Here are a few simple ways to make a difference:

  • Offer to hold a baby.
  • Just listen.
  • Host a playgroup for siblings to give a mom extra time with her new baby.
  • Provide a ready-to-eat, frozen, or oven-ready meal (or simply bring pizza).
  • Run errands.
  • Help with doctor visits.
  • Babysit and let a new mom take a nap.
  • Drop off milk or diapers.
  • Be a friend.
